Door Armor Combo Sets can be customized according to your security needs and installation preferences. Each kit includes 1 Jamb Shield and 2 Door Shields (of your choosing). If you're uncertain about which Door Armor set suits your door, we suggest opting for PRO Door Armor as it requires less space between the door and door frame. Enhancing the kit with Hinge Protection and Prying Protection boosts the level of security it offers.
Door Armor Jamb Shield is 46 inches long. It attaches to the lock side of the door frame. The Jamb Shield has holes that fit locks spaced from 4.5 to 21.5 inches apart. Each Door Armor Kit includes one.
Door Shields: These are crucial to prevent the door from splitting when kicked. Classic kits contain Mini Door Shields that slide over the door edge. Pro Kits contain PRO Door Shields. Mini Door Shields need 2 quarters of space for installation, while Pro Door Shields require less than 1 quarter. Each Door Armor Kit includes two. PRO Kits include both PRO and MINI Door Shields.
Door Armor Hinge Shields are L-shaped pieces installed over existing hinges, eliminating the need to remove the door. Smart thieves target the hinge side of the door. If you add Hinge Protection, two are included.
Pry Shield prevents advanced thieves from prying the door open. It installs in about 5 minutes and includes tamper-resistant screws for complete security. One is included with Prying Protection.
Each set includes 17 3.5-inch painted Torx head screws and 4 2.5-inch painted Torx head screws with self-tapping tips, along with one Torx drill bit and instructions.
